Alot of the classic James Bond movies, not the ones today, have the reoccuring theme of anti-soviet in them and were released during the time of the Cold War.

  1. Russians are often the terrorists or villans in many movies today. Everyone thinks of them as the Villian whenevr their seen in a movie.

  2. @Gaurav: I think that comment's biased in itself; what you said can be considered true in some cases, but most likely because we're basing it on a US citizen's perspective. In Russia, the "villians" in movies are definitely different than the movies we watch, so "everyone" does not think of them as the wrongdoers. That comment's a tad too brash.

  4. @Rob I agree. Gaurav does have a point in what he's saying. I understand why he would say that because i do notice that. These movies you listed are just a handful, I'm pretty sure there a TON more of movies with Russians as the enemy.

  5. I have seen many of the James Bond movies and I have to agree with this. A lot of anti-Russian sentiment has come in from these mvoies and they are probably one of the reasons that we all have sucha Russian bias in movies today.

  6. Especially since the Russians seem to lose or be defeated too, also contributes to the Russian bias Sulaiman.
